Security is a top Priority. Rever now SOC 2 Compliant

We’re excited to announce that Rever, the connected worker platform, has received its Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II compliance report. 

At Rever, we chose to pursue a SOC 2 Compliance Report for two reasons. First, to hold ourselves accountable to a rigorous framework that ensures we keep our customers’ data safe. Second, create a streamlined, standardized way to communicate our security practices to our customers.

A SOC 2 Compliance Report is the product of a deep external audit that closely examines a company’s information systems for compliance to the principles of trust established by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). SOC 2 reports are awarded to businesses that demonstrate the ability to meet the institute’s high standards in data security and confidentiality.

This certification underscores our commitment to safeguarding customer data across the Rever platform.

After receiving our SOC 2 Type I certification last year, we immediately set our sights on the SOC 2 Type II certification. The SOC 2 Type II certification shows that Rever’s systems and design meet the AICPA trust principles over a six-month minimum period. In other words, there’s a rigorous historical element (and proof of continued commitment) to Type II.

Rever’s SOC 2 Type II examination was performed by The Boulay Group and greatly facilitated by Vanta. SOC 2 Type II is an important industry standard, verifying that Rever’s current and future customers can be confident about their data security and integrity.

Moving forward, Rever will continue to renew its SOC Type 2 report every year, and continue to improve our internal services and operations to give our customers the trust and confidence they expect from a global company.
